Beginners (Katie)


This class explores the relationship between the breath and its fundamentality to the practice, while also focusing on alignment, building strength, flexibility and balance. You will begin to understand how to not only open the body but to relax the busy mind as Katie emphasizes the power of mindful body awareness. Beginners will also be introduced to the vinyasa system of synchronizing movement and the breath, creating heat to help detoxify and purify both body and mind. A long relaxation is offered at the end to help students time to allow the practice digest and drop deeper into themselves, feeling rejuvenated, relaxed and calm by the time they leave the space. 

Level 1 (Katie)

Based on the asthanga primary series, although modified to suit the western body and the ability of a new student or someone moving in from beginners. It is a progressive yet strong dynamic practice that encourages the student to move according to there own edge. Poses are broken down and modifications are offered so the student learns how to individually express themselves in each pose, while still focusing on understanding principles of alignment and the integration of breath. 


Level 1 / 2  Core Strength and Stability (Katie )

Finding our core and building power from our centre will allow the student to become strong and stable, connecting each student to their own sense of determination, will power and inner strength. The class will finish with longer held Yin hip openers, working specifically on the ligaments, joints and connective tissues of the hips and pelvis, allowing the student to release and let go through the hips, feeling light, relaxed and strong by the end of the class.


Level 2 (Katie)

Building upon the vinyasa system whilst developing a dynamic, creative, and complex flow. The student will learn to explore different transitions and have a little fun in this class whilst progressing in their understanding of alignment, breath and movement. Building upon foundational poses and progressing to some more advanced asana. Katie will focus on different areas of the body from backbending and inversions to hips and core.

Yoga Nidra and relaxation (Suzie)

Whether you are new to yoga or a long term practitioner - finding deep relaxation can sometimes prove hard to come by.Experience the yogi sleep, revitalise and journey with us into the world of Yoga Nidra and your inner self. This class is suitable for all levels and ages. Prepare for resting poses, breath work and Yoga Nidra practices: Tuesdays from 8 - 9:15 pm.


Relax and Detox (Suzie)

Our relax and detox classes are designed to help you reconnect with your body through a gentle practice. Increase mobility, gain flexibility and stimulate your metabolisim as you unwind and get ready for a new week. Sundays 1.00pm - 2.30pm
